Raul Taylor
Owner/Operator
Raul has wanted to ride ever since he can remember. He use to place baseball cards in the spokes of his Schwinn FastBack equipped with the banana seat and "stik-shift lever."
Raul recently retired from a DFW area police department after being a police officer for just over 30 years. For many of those years, Raul was assigned to the traffic division as a police motor officer. As a police motor officer he was tasked with investigating vehicle crashes, some involving motorcycles, some fatal. Some of Raul's investigations determined that small corrective inputs could have saved some of those lives.
Raul believes that civilians too need the type of training that police motor officers undergo in one form or another.
While motor officers ride every day, all day, Raul saw a need for regular training since operating a motorcycle is a perishable skill. He created and managed the DFW area police motor officers' monthly training sessions. What began with a handful of motor officers in a church parking lot grew into the areas largest police motor officer training day that still exists to this day.
Raul has competed in police motorcycle rodeos all across the U.S.A., having placed in nearly every position from 1st place to bringing up the rear. Raul also won a gold medal in the Texas Police Olympics. Raul attended and successfully completed the 120-hour police motor officer instructor course hosted by Harley Davidson through Northwestern University. Raul has a passion for riding, training, and helping others. Training civilians on motorcycles is a perfect combination!
